Remote Learning Update 4.16.20 Dear Bedford Families ~ It has been decided.  Remote learning will take place for the remainder of this school year.  While I am not surprised, I am grateful that we can move forward with confidence that this is our path.   April Break. I have modified our calendar for the remainder of the school year.  In order to accommodate both those who need a break as well as responding to those families who have reached a rhythm, we will adhere to the following schedule: April 27th - May 1st was formerly Spring Break.  Below is NEW. Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday April 27th April 28th April 29th April 30th May 1st SCHOOL SCHOOL SCHOOL NO SCHOOL NO SCHOOL June 8th - June 12th was formerly the last week of school.  Below is NEW. June 8th June 9th June 10th June 11th June 12th SCHOOL  LAST DAY These days are no longer needed. Food Service The Bedford School District will continue to offer breakfast and lunch each day.  This includes Thursday, April 30th and Friday, May 1st. Opportunities to Help the Red Cross A new volunteer opportunity, Blood Donor Screener, will help pre-screen blood donors entering drives or donation centers. Personal protective equipment will be provided. Volunteers must be 18 years of age.  Click HERE to sign up. If you would like to donate blood, click HERE. End of Year Planning All schools are working on possible plans for the end of the school year.  From BEEP to graduation (and everything in between), we are in the planning stages.  We will keep you updated as we know more. Reuniting Students with their Belongings All schools are also working on plans to reunite students with their belongings that were left at school.  Once a plan has been developed, we will communicate that with you. School Board Meeting 04.13.20. (posted 04.10.20)

Bedford School Board will hold a meeting on Monday, April 13, 2020 at 7 pm.  This meeting will be entirely remote.  

  Citizen participation can occur in two ways:

1. Submit your written comments to the School Board using this link:

If you wish to speak during the meeting please do the following:

• Mute your microphone until you are asked by name for your comments.
• Click in the Chat box in the upper right hand corner of the meeting screen and type in your name and street address and topic.
