Face Masks To Be Worn in Bedford School District. (posted 04.16.21)

 April 15, 2021

Dear Bedford Families-

On Thursday, Governor Sununu announced at a press conference that New Hampshire's face mask mandate would expire without renewal on April 16th. The mask mandate began in November; however, the Bedford School District has required masks for students and staff the entire school year.

All of the Bedford schools will continue to require face mask use. As the Governor stated, “(mask wearing) is just a good idea. It is recommended by Public Health. We are strongly behind that message.”

The health and safety of our students and staff continues to be a priority. Wearing face masks has proven to be an effective practice in preventing the spread of Covid-19. Feel free to contact me or your child(ren)’s principal with any questions.

Sincerely,

Tom Laliberte

Assistant Superintendent
